 The Trackblazer: Start of the Climax is the third major career scenario in the global version of Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

Key Gameplay Mechanics

• Removal of Fixed Goals: Unlike previous scenarios, Trackblazer removes predetermined character goals. You can choose any races at any time, allowing for highly customized career paths.
• Race-Heavy Progression: Success depends on winning high-grade races to earn grade points and shop coins. This often leads to "race-spamming" strategies to maximize rewards.
• The Scenario Shop: A new shop opens after your Umamusume's debut. You can spend coins on randomized items like stat-boosting books, energy recovery, and mood improvements that refresh every six turns.
• Twinkle Star Climax: This three-leg final tournament replaces the URA Finale. It uses a points-based system where you only need the most cumulative points across three races to win the scenario.

Skill Acquisition: Instead of standard training events, skill hints are primarily gained based on the specific rivals and races you encounter.

Main Differences & Considerations

• Reduced Story Content: To prioritize the "racing anywhere" mechanic, main character story events are disabled in this scenario. Random events and costume-specific stories remain active.
• Longer Playtime: Because of the high volume of races and item management in the shop, a single training run can take upwards of 40–50 minutes.
