Much of the print material based on Animaniacs (such as the comic books) used the show's name when directly referring to Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, who were always called the Warners and never the Animaniacs in the show. Even some Kids' WB spots (such as the preview special Welcome Home, Animaniacs!) and movies and other shows and movies made by WB themselves made this mistake, like Teen Titans Go! To the Movies.
