 Here’s A Fun Toy Fact!


  • The Fairly OddParents! got toys such as "Disappearing Vicky" and "Timmy-to-Cleft Wonder Changer". Two different sets were offered in Europe and Latin America respectively. The commercial for the North American promotion also starred a young Miranda Cosgrove mere months before Drake & Josh started airing.
  • Looney Tunes had a set of eight character figures dressed as DC Comics characters in 2023 to celebrate 100 Years of Warner Bros.. There was Bugs Bunny as Superman, Lola Bunny as Wonder Woman, Daffy Duck as Batman, Taz as Cyborg, Sylvester as The Joker, Porky Pig as Robin, Tweety as Harley Quinn, and Road Runner as The Flash.
  • In 2015, Teen Titans Go! got various toy gadgets
  • Tiny Toon Adventures got 4 action toys in 1992 for Europe.
  • Looney Tunes had a set of eight drinking glasses in 1973, each one with one of the series' characters; Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester, Tweety Bird, Pepe Le Pew, Road Runner, and Petunia Pig.
  • Duck Dodgers had a set of four toys in 2005. There was the Martian Moped spring-loaded launcher, the Space Cadet bobblehead, the Lt. K9 anti-gravity crawler, and the Morph-O-Matic screen changer.
  • The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries had a set of five toys in 1998. There was a pull-back roller, a runaway chair, a chase scene top, a Sylvester squeeze squirter, and Tweety's "The Chase is on" viewer.
  • Tiny Toon Adventures had a set of four toys in November and December 2000, many years after the show had finished its original three-season run and ran for syndication. These consisted of Babs Bunny in a bobsled, Plucky Duck on a snowboard, a Dizzy Devil top, and Furrball and Sweetie in a gift box.
  • Looney Tunes had a set of four pull-back cars in the UK in 1990. These consisted of Bugs Bunnyand Yosemite SamSylvester the Cat and Tweety BirdWile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, and Daffy Duck and Elmer Fudd.
  • In 2019, We Bare Bears got basketball toys.
  • SpongeBob SquarePants had various Wacky Pack toys from 2014-2016. The 2016 set included an inflatable beach ball.
  • Teen Titans Go! has been featured a few times at Sonic. One time, it was the Titans dressed as their favorite Justice League heroes (Starfire as the Flash, Beast Boy as Martian Manhunter, Robin as Batman, Raven as Wonder Woman, and Cyborg as Green Lantern).
  • Hannah Montana received a microphone and guitar toy, alongside stickers and an MP3 download of a Hannah Montana album.
  • iCarly received four toys in 2008. These included cell phone charms, a photo holder, a mousepad, and a sculptor kit.
  • Wizards of Waverly Place received a kaleidoscope, a coin bank, a magic wand, and a stationary kit.
  • Bear in the Big Blue House received a set of four toys in 1999. Among the toys issued were a plastic figure of Bear that danced the "Cha-Cha" when a button was pressed, a Big Blue House viewfinder, Tutter's Cheese Chase, and a Pip and Pop Tub Fun roll along vehicle. Customers could also enter to win the contest "Party with Bear", where up to 25 children would win a live appearance of Bear and various products.
  • Looney Tunes got clip-on toys of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner, Marvin the Martian, Taz the Tasmanian Devil, and Foghorn Leghorn in late 1999 to promote Mil-Looney-um 2000.
  • The Loud House got comics.
  • Phineas and Ferb had two sets. The first one was released in 2008 and contained PVC figures of Phineas and Ferb, a race car based on the Season 1 episode, The Fast & The Phineas, and a launching rocket ship. The second, released in 2013 for "Platypus Day" was a set of reusable lunch bags.
  • Pinky and the Brain: One particular toy was a Polly Pocket-like toy of Acme Labs shaped like Brain.
  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Included the likes of a SpongeBob notepad and a Sandy pen. The toys were branded as a promo for the SpongeBob's House Party special.
  • Teen Titans Go! had a wide variety of toys, promoted as a "party in every bag".
  • Tiny Toon Adventures had a set of four toys in 1999, many years after the show had finished its original three-season run and ran for syndication. These four toys included a Dizzy Devil top, an X-ray machine, colorful connectable figures of Buster and Babs, and a lenticular 3d photo frame where a photo of your head could be placed over Hamton's.
  • WordGirl got audiobooks and a toy of Captain Huggyface.
  • Pretty Cure, which McDonald's of Japan sponsors:
    • Futari wa Pretty Cure (Japan) got toys and stickers.
    • Smile PreCure! (Japan): It got trading cards.
    • During the final stretch of Doki Doki! PreCure, it received transparent plastic cards…this time being the primary gimmick for the season that followed after as Cure Lovely and Cure Princess were featured with the entire DokiDoki! team during the promotion. This was used instead of the normal paper trading cards of the previous cures with the then-newly revealed cures.
  • Space Jam got small figures that moved when rolled and could connect together. The Bugs Bunny one was reissued for the 2019 retro line.
  • American Idol: A set of musical instruments and accessories with the show’s branding was released in 2007. In 2008 they released figures based on different genres (such as Soulful Selma). They got sued by Devo for using their likeness in a toy without permission.
  • Mr. Men had several promotions in the United Kingdom, some of which featured the characters in plush form.
  • iCarly: the Magic Meatball, a mini laptop, a dachshund with randomized sayings, and more.
  • Lizzie McGuire got fashion accessories and CD-ROM games. It ran opposite Dave the Barbarian, despite Lizzie having aired its finale less than one month after Dave premiered.
  • That's So Raven got accessories, a cellphone, and a fortune flapper.
  • Victorious: Purses and jewelry with the show's logo on it. There was also an "MP3 player" that would play "Make It Shine".
  • Sesame Street was featured in the "under 3" line during the 2000s. This may have been due to McDonald's being a funding partner at the time.
  • Looney Tunes got figures of Bugs, Daffy, Petunia, and Taz with snap-on superhero costumes in 1991, and crazy cars of Bugs, Daffy, Taz, and Porky in 1992. There was also a Canada promotion in 1992 for the holiday season with four plush toys of Tweety, Sylvester, Taz, and Bugs Bunny. In 1996 in Europe, it received a set of four train cars that could connect to each other and perform actions when moved. This promotion included a re-issue of the Bugs and Daffy toy featured in the 1994 Happy Birthday Happy Meal, Tweety having locked Sylvester in a washing machine, Taz spinning through a crate, and Wile E. Coyote chasing Road Runner.
  • Animaniacs: In 1994, it got race cars featuring not just the Warners, but the supporting cast such as Pinky, the Brain, the Goodfeathers, Slappy, Skippy, Buttons, and Mindy. In 1995, a set of eight "stretch-able" toys were released.
  • Tiny Toon Adventures got flip cars of Buster and Elmyra, Babs and Plucky, Hamton and Dizzy, and Gogo and Montana in 1991, and Wacky Rollers of Buster, Babs, Plucky and Hamton, Sweetie and Furrball, Dizzy, Elmyra, Montana, and Gogo in 1992.
  • Tom & Jerry Kids had a set of four figures with instruments in 1990. There was Spike with a bass guitar, Droopy with a microphone, Jerry with a drum set, and Tom with a keyboard.
  • Warner Bros. toys were sold internationally in January 2023 to celebrate 100 years of Warner Bros. The lineup included characters from DC ComicsTom and Jerry, and Scooby-Doo.
  • Cartoon Network also had several campaigns in the US and internationally featuring the channel's vast lineup of franchises.
