• Family Guy has an in-universe example. In a Cutaway Gag, Peter and Lois agree to go into one of the restaurant bathrooms. When Peter comes out of the bathroom to see Lois, she says she didn't go in with him. The person who came out of the bathroom  turns out to be a male clone of Lois, who goes to a table with a female clone of Peter.
