- The Sequel Series of BanG Dream!, It's MyGO!!!!!, contrasts the titular band to its predecessors Poppin'Party and Hello, Happy World! from the previous three seasons of the series.
- Whereas PoPiPa's members are within Hanasakigawa, MyGO!!!!! has its band members comprised of students from all three schools including Hanasakigawa, Haneoka and Tsukinomori.
- Thematically, MyGO!!!!! are punk-rockers defined by their melancholic music with heavy subject matter (even contrasting the likes of Roselia who are focused on goth music), unlike PoPiPa and Hello, Happy World! whose music are often energetic, colourful and bright in nature.
