Anyways, Let's Start With The Recap Of Episode 7, By An Expert!

Tensions rise as the world of humans begins to encroach on the delicate bond between Okuruma-san and Angel Lillel-chan. Word has spread of the mysterious girl with otherworldly powers, and certain factions within the human government have taken interest—dangerous interest. They want to take Lillel away from Okuruma, claiming her powers are too volatile, too alien, to be trusted.

But Okuruma won't let that happen.

Determined to protect Lillel at any cost, he turns to an unlikely ally: the enigmatic and aloof Mayuri-san, a gothic librarian with ties to both the magical and human realms. Mayuri has always kept her distance—emotionally and magically—but she agrees to help when Okuruma explains what’s at stake. However, her plan to shield Lillel and maintain peace between the magical and human worlds is shattered when Lillel reveals her deepest secret:

She is also the cowgirl villain, Lusalotte.

The confession strikes Mayuri like lightning. Memories she had long buried resurface—visions of herself as a young girl, trapped in a laboratory, subjected to cruel experiments that infused her DNA with cow genetics. It was this trauma that shaped her into the cold, calculating protector of balance she is today.

Now, the one person she’s trying to save has a dark past just like hers.

In a moment of despair-turned-clarity, Mayuri regains composure. If she—a being twisted by human cruelty—can still protect the fragile peace, then maybe Lillel, even as Lusalotte, can find redemption too.

Mayuri formulates a new plan: to build a bridge between the magical and human worlds, starting not with governments or councils, but with the innocence of children.

The next day, Mayuri, Okuruma, and Risa (Lillel’s human vessel) arrive at a local elementary school. There, Risa transforms into Angel Lillel, her costume radiant, her wings shimmering with soft light. She entertains the children with magical displays—levitating toys, conjuring stardust, and telling fantastical stories.

But there’s a deeper purpose behind the smiles.

Lillel gently warns the children to be wary of “magical humans”—those who might look normal, but harbor powers that can be used for harm or good. The children listen, captivated and hopeful, their hearts opening to the idea that magic can be kind, not dangerous. It’s a small success, but one that could change everything.

That night, back in her quiet home, Mayuri retires to bed. Yet, sleep does not come easily. She stares at her ceiling, haunted by visions of Lusalotte, of herself, of the growing conflict.

Before closing her eyes, she dials a number on a crystal-like communicator. The voice that answers is gentle and clear—it’s Eri, her close friend and loyal assistant, also known in the magical world as the “Garden Elf.”

“Eri,” Mayuri whispers, “I need you to watch over Lillel-chan. She’s trying to help Okuruma. She’s gathering power—not to conquer, but to recruit more angels. She wants to save this world…”

There is a long silence. Then Eri responds:

“Then we’ll help her. But we must be ready—because others won’t see it that way.”

The screen fades to black, the tension hanging in the air.
