They try to find different places to play, but they don't work out. They eventually realize that this problem isn't going away unless they do something about it, and that they only have one treehouse, so they have to learn to share the responsibility and clean it up. This is a metaphor for the trash problem on Planet Earth, and how Earth is the only place we can live, so we have to take care of it.
