Let's Recap The 2nd Episode, By An Expert!

Episode 2 Recap: "The Secret Celebrity Earth Girl"

The episode opens with the sudden arrival of Tachibachi Mikari, a mysterious new girl who’s also a famous celebrity. Her glamorous appearance and aloof charm immediately catch everyone's attention—but something feels off beneath the surface.

Later that evening, Risa, still adjusting to her role as a magical girl, encounters Mikari again—this time transformed into a strange, melancholic figure calling herself "Minerella" in a quiet city park. The encounter is brief and unsettling, leaving Risa with more questions than answers.

The next day at school, Mikari unexpectedly shows up in Risa and Okuruma’s classroom, charming students and teachers alike. But before long, a sudden and ominous storm rolls in. As thunder rumbles outside, Mikari reveals her true identity and transforms into Minerella, the Dark Angel—a magical girl with a cold aura and haunting powers.

In a shocking turn, Okuruma transforms into Prince Ashford, a regal, sword-wielding warrior and Risa’s destined ally. A dramatic battle ensues in the rain, with Ashford confronting Minerella under the stormy skies. But as the fight intensifies, Ashford begins to fall for Minerella, charmed by her sorrowful beauty and mysterious past—much to Risa's dismay.

In a heart-wrenching moment, Minerella reveals her secret past: as a child star, she was a fashion model and harbored a childhood crush on Okuruma, who once smiled at her during a modeling event. Her feelings never faded—and now, powered by dark magic, she's determined to win his heart.

Risa, conflicted and betrayed, refuses to save Ashford, hurt by his sudden affection for the enemy. The episode ends with Minerella using her dark enchantments to make Ashford fall in love with her, leaving Risa alone, heartbroken, and unsure of what to do next.
