Episode 1: "The Birth of an Angel, Lillel-Chan!"
Risa Amano is a normal high school girl living an ordinary life—until fate intervenes. One quiet afternoon, she meets a mysterious and soft-spoken boy named Okuruma, a new student who seems strangely familiar despite being a total stranger.
As the two grow closer, they begin to notice strange phenomena—visions of feathers, distant voices calling from the sky, and glowing symbols only they can see. Their investigation leads them to an ancient relic hidden within the city: a broken mirror that acts as a portal to a forgotten realm. Together, they are transported to the Angel Kingdom, a once-holy world now teetering on the edge of collapse.
There, they uncover a shocking truth: humans from Earth have secretly begun infiltrating and controlling the Angel Kingdom, threatening the balance between the worlds. Caught in the chaos, Risa’s latent powers awaken. In a burst of radiant light, she transforms into Lillel-Chan, the Angel of Light—a prophesied guardian meant to restore peace.
At the same time, Okuruma's hidden past is revealed. He is actually Prince Ashford, a royal from the Angel Kingdom whose memories had been sealed. But before they can process their new roles, they are thrust into a battle arena, forced to fight each other in a cruel test of loyalty and strength by angelic authorities who distrust their sudden awakening.
The fight is fierce, emotionally charged, and filled with confusion. In the heat of combat, Ashford accidentally damages Lillel-Chan’s angelic outfit, a sacred symbol of her power and purity. The injury, while not physical, deeply wounds Risa’s spirit. The tension between them grows.
After the battle, the two are sent back to Earth—silent and shaken. On a quiet street at sunset, Risa approaches Okuruma to apologize for how the battle unfolded. Her voice is filled with guilt, but before he can respond, she runs off into the distance, overwhelmed by emotion and fear. In doing so, she betrays Ashford, leaving him behind… and leaving their bond fractured on the very day their destinies began.
